    Default Chiangmai: "Lantern" Krathong

can't remember the actual name but this krathong is to be release into the sky while floating krathong will be release to the river, Mae Ping

beautiful sight of many lanterns floating upwards; no too sure if this is practise in Bangkok or southern thailand

the lantern requries at least 3-4 person to release as you need to balanced it carefully before release else it will go sideways intead of upright

p.s: wish I had a faster lens; taken with Nikon CP990
