Melvyn, when you post the pics, can you give a more distinct title?
Almost missed this post as I thought it was your old post!Excellent pics as expected. Loved the spider shots. Nice JS captured! #4 is a very interesting spider....have not seen it bef, and love the mantis shot too! CY

Sharp and nice. How did you shoot the ladybug? I tried once but they always flew away the moment I aproch them and it so tiny to get a good focus.
I thing I always wanted to ask, do you use AF when you encounter difficult to shoot subjects like the ladybug? Last weekend I tried to use AF after failing to focus manually on a small spider. |

I never use AF to shoot macro. Too slow, inaccurate, noisy (for my lens). ![]() |
