I wish Singaporeans will value this racial harmony that we have strived to maintain these years, to ensure peace and prosperity in this young nation of ours. Taken with a IXUS 400.

but there is freedom of speech in HK....and pple there can protest peacefully too

In fact, protest in HK seldom turns into violent, and it is a good thing afterall because such protests have proven to be useful when the govt got to listen and change their policy

Don't understand the point of your post. What's wrong with a peaceful protest? Or are you conditioned to see all protests negatively?

I think you misunderstood. I think that wkcheah is trying to show us is what disrespect for other person or religion can do i.e. the aftermath. It's not about the protest per se.

the protest you shown here is the aftermath ? I mean it looks like a perfectly peaceful and civil protest.

What aftermath? Aftermath being the consequence of an event, often with negative connotations. I only see people engaging in their freedom to assemble and free speech, peacefully.
