As always.. can't resist the temptation...

Yup.. I am a proud owner of the above lens.

Here is some pics of the actual lens... performance wise is subject to testing...

for its price, I find getting the sigma or the 200mm prime a lot more worthwhile.

Agetan: Congrats on your new purchase, it is a fine lens! Beautifully built, IMO even nicer than Canon's famous white 70-200L IS.

Hi...

here is 2 photos...

haven't got time to process the rest... having using it for few hours today... I love it more than 80-200 f2.8 APO G HS... It is more responsive, and it makes my mirror slap sounds louder.. cos this lens doesn't make any noise at all...

Focusing seems to be a tad faster than older version.

But if you already have the white HS version... I guess its not a big deal about this lens. But there are quite a bit of improvement.

Is it worth it? I think so...

Regards,

Hart

I had the AF 80-200/2.8 G lens, sold off now waiting to get this lens. Still deciding as the $$ can get me Sigma 70-200 EX DG + 10-20 EX DC + 18-50 EX DC lenses. Anyway enjoy your lens.

Those shots that aren't that sharp are my fault.. too excited with whole event, didn't take time to shoot it properly...
