Hiya,
This is first time posting in here. Here's my first few attempts on my Nikon D50 with 55-200mm lens. ![]() I've yet to find out the specie name of this duck, but this was taken at King's park near Perth City. ![]() A seagull catching the cool breeze. Photo taken by the riverside of Fremantle Bridge. Pls do comment ^-^ Angel Last edited by SilverStallion; 16th February 2006 at 11:39 PM. |

Hi hamtaro,
First one is not bad, Second one would look better if you crop it more. Welcome to Clubsnap..!! ![]() |

Like the first and agree with Reno's comments on the second... Second shot could do with some brightness adjustment....
Love to see more. |

hmm... looks familiar. Love the mood and the feel of the second one but I suppose it could be presented differently for a stronger composition.
Cheers, p.s. Welcome to clubsnap! |

The first pics is nice and sharp. I like the contrast too. And also nice bokeh.

Hi Angel,
Your first bird is a Pacific Black Duck (Anas superciliosa), a very common duck that resides in parks and gardens. Your second is another very common bird, the silver gull (Larus novaehollandiae). Good catch. MM |
