i think that price list is kinda strict, no OT there, so here's a new thread.

ong23's findings -

CP to check, selling the grip at $169. Southeast Computer selling @ $279.
Then another shop at Funan, level 5, selling at 157.50 inclusive GST

shop in Funan level 5, selling 350D Grip at $157.50 ( Inclusive GST ) but no warranty. Southeast Computer selling at $279, also got no warranty.

Alan Photo at funan quoted me $169 for BG-E3.

so don't get con like me at CP Marina Square, i paid $235.00 for it. call and check price then go down, i bought on impulse with a bag and almost a tripod wahahaha am happy with the grip so no complains but if can save money, who wouldn't. hee hee

Pricing should be $169 with GST. The $157 one is a grey set, that's why no warranty.

BG-E3 grip got warranty? i was told by canon salesperson at harborfront
that there is no warranty on it.

This grip is abt $170. I overheard some guy being quoted at John 316.

ANyway, no warranty for batt grips, grey or otherwise. There is no warranty card in the box.

Yup the posters are right. There's NO WARRANTY for battery grips, so don't be conned by salesmen or some posters on the Bns thread that there a 1 yr warranty.

Information comes from Canon Singapore. Some shops may offer a 1-to-1 exchange if it spoils within a wk, but thats a shop warranty.

in all logic if the grip has problems you send in right, i'm not canon so i do not know if they charge you for repairs.

if its spolit, aka damaged, no point keeping it right? unless you want to claim insurance.

Canon products won't spoil so easily one lah...

BTW, The Oracle was selling some for $150. Try to see if he still has stock.

Actually it's not free. The price you paid already inclusive of the grip.

i tio big time. hahahaa so i went to penisular next time, gotten the SLIK Pro GM and a Lowepro Computrekker at a good price. didn't call also, just walked in but this time, i search around here for the price gauge first. so i know i got a good pric before buying.
