    Cool

What is your budget like? What is your prime usage (do u need Bluetooth, WLAN, heavy user or just treat it as a toy...etc.)?

I would recommend you to get the Toshiba e310 for general use and if you r willing to fork out $500-$600.00. A new model e330 is to replace the e310 soon.

... concurs with Shadus, I've never seen or heard of a Palm sych problem if it's done correctly.

I'd recommend the Palm m125 if you have the money. It's not fancy, takes AAA batteries and rechargables (no expensive internal battery pack to replace) has a memory epansion slot and works really well.

    Look at this -

Talk about being noticed in a crowd.

Anyway, scroll down and look at the bottom PDA. Looks pretty good value for $$$?

    http://vaio-online.sony.com/sg/clie/app/index.jsp

Reason being the 16MB on board memory and mem stick support.

oops, price increased back again. This unit ws available for 530 (or ard there) a couple of weeks back immediately when the Sony sale started. Maybe they increased back the price bcos of the colour unit?

Anyway, price was only for this on-line site. Elsewhere was slightly higher. Can check the Sony Sales catalogue

can try sony sj30 - hires, small, good buttons, longer battery life than most other sony clies - retail price $449.

But doesn't have mp3 function. Again, it should depend on your needs. If colours your game and u like large screen sizes, get the NX70V coming out soon.

I believe the upcoming NX70V is the one that will have the voice recording function.

I owned 2 Palm pilot and never have any hotsync problem at all.
one misplaced, another drop accidently while touring in japan
so I'm looking forward to getting a new one

If you're looking for pocket pcs, check out www.ppcsg.com
If you're looking for palm, check out www.spug.net

Shouldn't be too difficult to make a decision. For me, I had an ipaq before and decided that I didn't need those fanciful features.
Now using an M505 - affordable, colour screen and serves its purpose well.

PPC - many functions. Need it? Anyway I dun like windows......
    Palm - Lesser functions. Enough?

Perhaps you want to repost your 'requirements' of a PDA so you can get some suggestions.

If your budget is not high, then no point looking at PPC.

    Do you want:
    Colour
    Bluetooth
    MP3
    Camera
    video
all kinds of rubbish... name it.......

I personally wont recommend m125. Used to have it for abt 1 month, there seemed to be something wrong with the digitizer aka screen aka sensor on the screen.

it is quite a well known problem.

However, in any case you wouldnt mind all that, you can easily get a 2nd hand m125 at about ard $150 at SPUG forum
