I will be organising a MO for the following items.

1. Flash Brackets - Z-type, C-type, U-type, Straight-type

Uses:
Z & C type: Suitable for mounting flash for Macro Photography. C-type flash shoe can swivel about the "C" part of the bracket.

Straight & U type: Suitable to mount additional flash for P&S, non-dslr cameras.

2. Close-up filters kits - contains +2, +3, +4 and a "macro" filter

Uses: reduces focusing distance, effectively enlarging image. Close-up filters can stack together for greater enlargement. I currently own the 52mm kit and am having a ball with it. For those with long lens, especially the 70-200, 100-400, this closeup kit is a more economical alternative to the 500D diopter to convert your zoom lens to a "macro" lens.

72mm Closeup Kit- consists of 4 Closeup filters

Sample Image. Setup- 50mm macro + 2X teleconvertor + "macro" closeup filter. Subject is a size 12 font on my LCD monitor.

Collection & Delivery

Collection from my residence is preferred (i stay in hougang). Arrangement for collection will also be made at Douby Ghaut MRT. Alternatively, I could mail it to you at extra $2.00 - $5.00, depending on number of items.

Will be on 28 Febuary 2006, 2 weeks from now. Processing & shipping will take approximately 3 weeks after that.

*Note*
Some were asking about the sample image for the closeup kit. The image is 100% crop, non PS, taken on FF dslr. Only resolution is reduced to 600x400. Some not so scientific calculations about the magnification factor (pls correct me if I am mistaken)

Magnification =
(size of "8" on image)/(height of image) x (sensor height)/(actual font height)
= 1/4 x 24mm/3mm
= 2X magnification
From my understanding, the 50mm Macro gives a magnification of 0.5. The 2x teleconvertor give 2X magnification and hence the "macro" provides another 2X. Thus total is 2X for my setup (0.5X * 2X * 2X).
