Hi recluse,

Welcome to IR.

Looks like you did not do any post processing on your 2 pictures. From what you have you should do a 100% Channel Swap of the Red and Blue Channels, the do some Hue and Saturation adjustments to get the usual IR effect you see in most of the IR pictures.

I took the liberty to do some adjustments on your 2 pictures. Hope you don't mind.

Channel Swapped and adjusted Red/Yellow/Master Channels in Hue/Saturation

Yes, i did not post process the picture at all. Tot just take the IR shot can liao. Furthermore i'm a dummy in ps.
Will try to figure out using ps later.
