A visitor from Indonesia

Hi Guys,

We'll be having a IR enthusiat visiting us from Indonesia early March, his name is Dibyogahari. He's also a member here in CS. He has won a few photo competitions in Indonesia.

Some of you may have seen his IR works here. I'm arranging with him to have an IR Photoshoot on 5th. March 2006 and would like to invite you guys to join in the shoot and meet him at the same time.

I had the priviledge of having dinner with him when he was here last year. We had a long chat about photography and IR techniques. He truely is a nice person to talk to.

Final details of the shoot will be worked out at a later date. Let's take it as another one of out IR outings but with the addition of a new friend.

I plan to visit Singapore in March 4-6, 2006, and my schedule mainly to take a Singapore photo shoot in infrared and normal. Teerex is my infrared teacher, and we are close friends now. Deadpixel is another friend and guru who gave me the best tips on how to convert D70 to a dedicated infrared camera. I converted one of my D70 this afternoon, and fortunately, successfully. So, I want to take a test drive with the D70i :-)

dibyogahari, welcome to singapore and congrats on your D70i. Deadpixel helped me convert my D70 too and now i shoot totally in IR

though I'm too lazy to process my pictures

Hi Dibyo,

Good to have another D70i user come around, it's a small but slowly growing group in SG.

It would be nice to meet up with you when you come in to SG, I'm suppose to be busy on 4 and 5 March but I'll try to sneak out...
