wow! i really like these photos! especially the one with the rosy cheeked little girl in the furry jacket.. the balance and feel of these shots are great.. love the color and contrast! what camera setup are you using may i ask?

From the image properties, he's using a Canon 20D

Didnt try getting them to pose for you? Were the eyes away from lense deliberate?

Hi,

I find that they are nice and natural. Anyway, you didnt mention that these are portriats. So it fits the theme of streets and candid.

Wonder why every shot must be posed? natural is beauty.

I like the series of pictures!

i was referring to the first picture, its obviously posed but their eyes were looking elsewhere. in this case i'm assuming another photographer

the last time i shot with a 10d, most (in fact all) of the japanese i met were very obliging to have their pictures taken

Thou they might be snapshot, i have to say the colour, lighting and everything is very nicely done, not to mention the skintone,excellent.
