    Unhappy Print Output problem

I use a Lexmark printer, try to print a low compressed JPEG photo, using a Espon Photo 4R paper, set the printer to the hightest quality and print direct from PS CS2. The printer has a resoluation of 1440dpi, and was using orginal photo and colour ink.

However, the print output was terrible, pic were not sharp, colour were more toward red.

I had tried 5 times with different setting, same result.

Is it got to do with the colour management???

Anybody has the same experiance? Pls help!!!!!!

Ever wondered why Lexmark printers are never mentioned in photography?

They are not up to it. period.
