    25mm 1/50 f4.1 (min)

    25mm 1/50 f11

    18mm 1/400 f3.5

IMHO I think this lens gives a good bang for the buck, and nicely balanced for the absolutely laziest "photographer" around (me) i.e. freehanded, one lens for everything

Going to the Old Ford Factory in the afternoon to take some shots, will post them later.

BTW, this doesn't make this thread OT will it?

Forgot to add that there was no post-production editing done other than resizing.

The large aperture shots look quite soft... can post any 100% crops?

Hmmm. Were the pixs shot @ ISO 100?

The colors are quite nice, pastel like and not too contrasty.

Your cat is very lucky, seems very contented.

    You have steady hands.

    Where are you located?

    Yup, ISO 100.

I'm residing at Cashew Heights, so that's MINDEF in the extreme background.

Steady hands the result of too many push-ups I suppose That's what you get for selling your soul to the SAF hehe

As for the wide-open softness, I'll take another set of test shots with the tripod and see how that goes.

Oh and as for the cat...

Sleeps 20 hours a day, and uses 4 for everything else.

He helps himself to the bed, so yeah, sometimes I wish I was him

Its one of the factors that made me decide on the E-300... I bought it after it was discontinued... and got a super discount for it...
