Yes, and likely by 3Q this year. It is expected to use a variant of the Core Solo processor aka Pentium M.

Hullo.... P4 is just a slow powersucker... the latest variant of the PentiumM, Core Solo and Core Duo running on the new desktop chipsets are basically as fast as the Athlon64 and yet consume much less power, so it is even better.

Using the intel imac now, pretty fast for most programs, but kinda slow for programs running on Rosetta.

I heard that CS2 is not optimised to run on Intel chips and Adobe will not be producing an optimised version until 2007 at the earliest. One of our IT support staff told me so must be true!!

Yes, it is true, Adobe will only release CS3 with Universal Binary earliest in Q1 2007. There will not be a updated CS2 with Intel Code. That is why I am sticking to my G4 or upgrading to a G5 PowerMac first.

Hi Apple users (esp those with the new Intel based ones)

Can i check if Apple can run dual OS. I am going to buy the Mini but need some XP based software like eMule, Jave VM for internet banking etc.

Does apple support? If yes, any idea how much to get Windows XP?

    Thanks
