Default Batam's Eagle Pic Sigma170-500mm

Yooo all...

eagles of batam... back yard of my house there...
btw... sungai buloh have eagle kah?
I also want to go to sungei buloh... hiks..hiks..

Sorry i need to sharpen... cause it is quite soft... i do handheld...
That lense is quite heavy... total is about 2kg... and i left my tripod in Sg...
So there you go...
I havent found the best aperture spot of this lense.. still try try..

any idea what he is eating?

ps: maybe anybody else want to do outing to batam? shoot wild eagles...?

nice catch, but may be you need to post in Natural Photography forum , as you didn't mention anything regarding Minolta. You got thelens brand new or 2nd hand? In Singapore?

I hope yr lens is new and not from a second shop in SG. I tested out one out in a shop before, notice that cleaning was done in, causing the coating of the glass is gone...

Great sequence of what seems like a brahminy kite.

As for raptors in SBWR, there are brahminy kites, white belly sea eagle and honey buzzards flying over often but hard to shoot because they are circling high up or blocked by foliage.

ancientmariner you sure do knows a lot about them...
i think i would like to follow you also... i always love biology lessons...
these eagles i saw at least have three different color... dunno if they are same species though...
