1) Viewfinder greater than 1/4";
2) LCD greater than 2.5", swival and turn; Live LCD display, allowing self portraiting; 3) WLAN-CF card, allowing image synchronization with Epson P2050/Creative; |

4) Full-mode RF remote control, wireless transmission of viewfinder data for remote taking photos in hazardous situations;
5) Robotic wheels and motion tracker to make it track birds and animals in the wild; 6) Solar sensitive body to generate electricity from sunlight; What else yah? ![]() |

Just a simple upgrade to a 10 or 11 MP CMOS with lower noise levels and selectable ISO sensitivity up to 3200 in 1/3 step increments is more likely. Perhaps maybe increased FPS and buffer for better continuous shooting.

Robotic ....
I only wish it to have in-body optical image stabilization. |

Ok, what good ideas!
7) Inbody image stabilization with 3 stops shutter speed gain; 8) 2X crop with 8/10MP, ISO 50~3200 usable until 1600; 9) 6 pix/sec continuous shooting, non-stop until battery/card/Epson/Creative exhausted. :P |

bigger viewfinder,
at least 1.3x crop factor as full frame will be costly Last edited by bonifas; 8th February 2006 at 10:39 AM. |

Bigger hand grip and improved weather seal would be nice.

Bigger Viewfinder!
10MP CMOS would be great. APS-C size is fine for me. ISO 1/3 or 1/2-stop up to 3200 (usable till 1600) Bigger LCD |

Regarding size of image sensors, is my understanding right?
Smaller sensor size makes use of the center portion of a lens, which is supposed to be optically better, and can extend the focal length if one shoots telephoto. Smaller sensor has worse noise performance. As a result, with improved noise resistance, a camera using smaller sensor will benefit telephoto users. 10) A muffer switch, which muffers the shutter sound if silence is required, and release the sound when the excitement of shooting is desired;
11) Pixel-based ISO adjustment, so in bright area, sensor chooses ISO100, and in dark areas, sensor choose ISO1600, all automatically; 12) Modular sensor unit so users can switch to full-frame and 2X crop sensor like changing films, and a user can buy two sensor units at same time; |

hehehe ...
WYWIWUG - what you want is what you get ... even if you are using a 28-90mm lens, you can get a close-up of an eagle flying 2 miles away ... |

Better Controls, knobs & dials. (similar to eos 50)
Eos350D flaws as follows: accidental timer mode (button shared with Drive modes & too close to AV+/-...resulting in unintended timer mode....trigger is delayed & shot is missed!!!) Meter mode need to toggle in LCD menu........slow Drive mode need to toggle in small LCD display......strain your eyes & slows you down. AF mode need to toggle LCD menu.......slow A/V +/- button too small & too close to other buttons......quick dial at back is a good concept. sure, you can take your eyes off the vfinder, look at the controls & LCD....but it sure slows you down. the momentary distraction is inefficient & probably results in missing the good shots. wouldn't it be good if you can feel the meter mode you are in & change at the turn of a dial or knob? I am sure most ex-users of eos50 (incl. higher or later models) out there would like the same control features in their next DSLR. I think Canon should consider the layout of the eos50 or similar models..... http://www.eosdoc.com/manuals/body/ElanII/#Section2 |

Just like fighter pilots have the controls at the finger tips & H.U.D. (Head-up display, a.k.a. "viewfinder")....never loose sight of the target, choose your weapon (cannon, missiles or bombload) lock on fast & fire with deadly accuracy !!!
