attend an interview &/or a photo shoot for final assessment.
What kind of photo shoot it will be? From what I read is that something like testing on you.

Exactly. What if it's something like the Canon Photo Marathon, and they judge you based on the photos from it. Scary.

A studio shoot or a photo marathon are some of the things I'm speculating they would use as a final test and I fear them both.

It'd stink if I'm forced to photograph models or to make photos under pressure. Sure, this may be part and parcel of photojournalism, war photography, advertising and fashion shows, but some photos are perhaps better made with more time and patience.

I too hate forced photography personally. My shots are all pretty bad if I'm in a rush, tired or not in the mood. No inspiration. hahah...

Same. I prefer shooting when on my own... when I can really take my time to compose.

Just wondering, anyone else wrapped their black mounting boards with clear plastic, like those used to wrap school books?

Not individually. But I used a clear plastic folder to keep all the prints in it for submission.

This is a nice one...a moment well-caught. Looks romantic even in black and white, particularly because of the snow. I think you probably meant it to be under 'Portraits' rather than 'Abstract'.

this ain't no portrait. he is right with his decision.

and he could even submit it for the 'snap that kiss' competition.
