Could not go out to shoot, so I took some old shots and did some pp.

Do they work for IR? Comments appreciated.

Btw, found a free software that can make photos have that "dreamy" look.

I like #1 but would be nice if the person (photographer) can be shown more clearly to emphersize the structure.

I have downloaded an action on creating a dreamy look, don't know if it's the same as the one you have. Actually #1 was treated with that action.

Ya agree about the guy in the pic can't remember who it is. This was shot in one or outings at Marina South Park.

How are you coming along with the D800 and the 18=200VR? Time to mod your D70 yet

Hi dibyo, how have you been. I about back to my normal self, can't wait till your visit here in Feb. A lot to catch up with you.

#1 was shot at Marina South Park, don't know if you have been there on your past few visits here before. We can definitely make arrangements for you to go there when you're here.

Zooming effect was done with PS.

Aiya, D200 cannot do IR lah so I still keep my D70 but my son will use it form time to time so no mod for me. BTW I like the 18-200 very convenient leh maybe next time I only need 3 lens to cover everything form heaven to earth, 18-200, 12-24 and a FE.

Photographers are starting younger and younger these days.

Got the moolahs, you can have everything from heaven to earth. Ya agree, those 3 lenses can cover all situations.

Have you tried shooting IR with the 18-200VR on the D70. Can try if you have the time? Curious if there are hot spots at longer exposures. Some may be considering this lens for IR.

You mean for the #1???

I did not use the one in your link, mine is different. An action in the link in my previous reply. Then manually softened the edges with a soft feathered brush.

Alamak, ur eyes ok lah, the sw can add colour tint to the photo.
I added brown

Hi Ark,
Can the effect be controlled ?. Like less soft or more soft etc.
Have not downloaded the software but I am thinking maybe next time they will have a IR filter for RAW files. Seems like almost all filter effect can be made via software nowadays.
Time to throw away my soft filters as well.
Maybe also time to look for a digital filter pack that can convert pictures to IR.
