Let's compare Samsung Pro815 and FZ30:
1. Samsung don't have OIS. 2. Price wise, I think Samsung more expensive. 3. Wide angle, Pro815=28mm, FZ30=35mm 4. Memory Pro815=CF, FZ30=SD Hmmm generally I still prefer Panasonic ![]() |

5. 28-420mm (FZ30 = 35-420mm) 6. 15x optical zoom lens (FZ30 = 12x) 7. 3.5" LCD display (FZ30 = 2" LCD) 8. 2/3" Type CCD (FZ30 = 1/1.8") 9. DNG-RAW output (FZ30 = ? RAW) 10. aperture F2.2 - F4.6 (FZ30 = F2.8 - F3.7) 11. 3cm macro (FZ30 = 5cm) 12. EVF 234k (FZ30 =230k) Seems spec-wise, the Pro815 is stronger? ![]() |

Everything is BIG on 815, but is it useable?
Let's see how many it can sell worldwide. |

the pro815 doesnt have an OIS which is very necessary for a megazoom camera of its class. look around at other brands like canon's s2, minolta's IS and nikons VR...all of their megazooms have an on board IS technology.
