Default Macro Outing with Photoi (04/02/06)

Had a pleasant morning. Thought AH was the place for shooting BF. Found a lot of bugs by 'looking below the leave'. Thanks John for the event.

#2 look like a monster! I think your shots are generally ok... except for #6 What you need to watch out is the BG. sometimes, a small angle movement can totally change the BG.

Some of the picts suffer from bad noise.

Thanks, Melynyeo. For those noisy pics, I tried ISO 1600 to bring up the shutter speed. Not a good way.

I have tried the M-Mode, set ISO to 200, F to 11, 1/160, and using pop-up flash to compensate at home, looks good, a little bit under exposure. May try ISO 400. Will try that in field soon. Thanks.

Opps forget to tell you, for my cam, if set at iso 200, f11-16, 1/200s, the flash is not powerful enough for a proper exposure. Iso 400 is the min for me.
