Hi bros....
I am thinking of getting a 2X TC (extension) to fixed on my current 70-200 2.8L IS. Wonder would it affect the picture quality.... Please advise. Thanks in advance... ![]() |

As you are adding another layer of glass between the sensor and your lens, of course it will cause some deterioration of the picture quality. The 2x extender may be a bit too much. Suggest you stick to the 1.4x. I have one and on my 70-200L there is no noticeable effect most of the time...
