First time using trying Macro Lens

First time trying Marco. Still no sure how to go about it. Shots at 5:1 handheld, Comments welcome

Setup: MP-e65mm @ 5:1, MT-24EX Marco Flash, handheld

#1 One cents coin

#2 Pen head

#3 Leg hair

#4 Silica-Gel

Well ,

This lens strong point is 5:1 but at 5 it's working distance is very close to the subject thus not suitable for those insect that can fly or run fast.

If really want to shoot bees or butterfly, I still prefer to have 180mm f2.8 at 1:1 , no need to get too close and scare the subject off loh.

Anyway , since I got this lens, I will try to shoot some flying insect loh. No harm trying anyway. Maybe newbie's luck can help to capture some nice butt with this lens

I have ever saw a housefly's head shots with a 20:1 marco lens. That one is really wow ... too bad Canon don't have or else I will go buy liao

We did mention before going SGB together to shoot marco wah. Since I just got the lens not even reach 24 hours yet so I need you to teach me loh

Wau Piang, you ask all those old birds come along I very stress liao.

This week I can't lah. Will let you know when I am going down to shoot. PMed you my number liao
