According to this post
http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/re...ssage=16983661 Panasonic will be announcing their 4/3 DSLR this month and Leica will be producing 4/3 lenses for Panasonic's DSLR. That would mean that we could then be able to add Leica 4/3 lenses to our arsenal for our Olympus DSLRs. Sweeeeet ! ![]()

I hope so too! Been shooting some Leica glass with an adaptor on the E-300 and believe me it isn't quite so easy to get a good focus in less than good lighting! But when you do get it ....right...
In any case, some assistance from AF would help a lot! ![]() |

Don't worry. I have tried lesser lenses such as the M42 Russian 85mm F2, 135mmCZJ F3.5 etc.. on the E-300 and they are more than able to give good results..(as long as focus is spot on!). I am quite sure the Leicas will pull through. One nice thing about the E-System is that it is so adaptable to many legacy lenses of the film era!
If the E-330 is as "legacy lens friendly" as speculated, I would most likely put it down as a must buy item for 2006! ![]() |
