Then i think they should not bundle, just sell the body and consumer would benefit.

the 350d can be bought body-only.

i think the greatest drawback of the 4/3 system(which panasonic will adopt) is the lack of lenses. so far only sigma announced a consumer(meaning not pro) 4/3 lens that adds to the very limited selection of oem lenses offered by olympus. i dont mean that dslr users must hav 10 or 20 lenses but its always better to be able to choose from many oem and 3rd party lenses/accessories.

the extensive system of bodies, lenses and accessories that canon and nikon(and sigma/tokina/tamron) offer gave them the 90% dslr market dominance.

woah steady. cant wait to see the beast that panasonic will give birth to.

but as roti_prata has said, which is correct imo, is that the 4/3 system lacks lenses. but i think giving it some time and it should grow, now panasonic has joined in the dslr bandwagon.

Lacks lenses? You sure? 35mm equivalent 14mm~300mm all covered and all topnotch fast glass somemore, no selection headache at all and with more to come. Moreover, Leica is expected to release lenses for 4/3 as well due to their collaboration with Matsushita. IMO, a lot of lenses is useless when most lenses are underpar or low quality.
