Hi All,

Really thanks for organising the IR outing. I have enjoyed myself and learnt a lot from all of you. Really appreciate the patience, pointers and guidance (and also the transport).
Sorry that I have to leave early as I got something on later. I will start a new thread to post my IR pictures, please comment and advice on how to improve. Thank you very much.

P.S. Will post the pics here or somewhere in CS once I have figured out how to restrain each image under 100K in size without sacrificing quality!

It took about an hour to do that pic.

Basically you just take two photos, one in colour, one in IR, then you combine both.

Do you take an hour for photoshop the pic? No wonder that the result is so good

Kind of manual work thats why it took an hour - and honestly, I think it will take more if its going to be higher resolution - maybe I should consult the guru photoexpress hehe - he's the one who inspired me in such concepts.

For the combination actually uses basic photoshop concepts of quick masking - I'm not sure if there's a faster way (again will have to get photoexpress to help hehe) - mine is slow and manual.

Sorry to organiser for missing the outing. I overslept and woke up at 8.55am. Took a cab and reach hawker centre/bus stop at 9.35am. I try smsing and calling Max and Stanley to get teerex number. Max reply at 11+ but I miss message. I saw message and call teerex at 3.30pm but session ending. But I stay till 5.30pm.

Will join you all next time.
