    Eh... just wondering, because my got scratch already.

    Is there a need to?

    I did ... but mainly coz I had some extra leftover from protecting my camera so I just use it on the lcd of the flash.
    I think it doesn't really matter if u are not fussy.

    Yeah ... I just bought a Scratch-Resistant film that was meant for PDAs from a handphone shop, at about $12.00. Cut it up carefully according to the size of my camera LCD ...
    and voila ... feel safe

    That seems like a good idea. I should protect mine also.
