Default Problem with print

I am using a HP 920C printer. The paper I used is Konica Injet Paper QP.

I have printer a picture however, did not frame it up of keep it. I notice the after 2 to 3 weeks, the portion that is not covered (grey) has turned greenish. However, the part that is covered seem to remains the same colour.

Does anyone has any idea what is going on? Do I need to apply anything on the print after printing to keep the colours?

Hi,

The best advice is to use back the original brand of paper and ink, but even that is no complete guarantee that there'll be no such incidents. In this case, you might like to try spraying lacquer designed for inkjet prints... but the results largely depends on the ink and paper combination. Works on some, doesn't work on others. Given the cost of the lacquer, you're better off buying original paper and ink, IMHO... hope this helps.

Default Problem with Epson R210

Hi,

I have a Epson R210, it is impossible to align the black head, I can never get a perfect rectangle during alignment. the rest of the color heads are fine.

Black texts in my print out are poor they appear jagged, color texts are good.

I also have banding problem while doing the black head alignment, but nozzle check doesn't reveal it is clog.

Why must the black head be align separatly from the rest of the color heads?

Best regards

Environmental attack from sunlight? moisture? ozone?
Covering it under glass reduces the magnitude of such attack on your paper and ink.

But then again is the 920C a photo printer? Non-photo printer inks might not have the better permanence of inks for photo printers. If you're using non-original ink, and the cheapest ones, then you got what you paid for...
