I think they stopped for the KM brand and probably making lenses named as Sony.

Then it doesn't look good.
That would mean the lens I have on back-order wouldn't be coming as they were still unable to give me an e.t.a. yesterday. Worse is it will upset my plans to build up my Minolta system. I don't know if I am lucky or unlucky, I haven't got any of those ultra-telephoto prime lenses I had wanted yet without knowing what Sony now plans to do with the KM system they took over.
Life is short but I guess I can give them till PMA2006 to come out with some good news.
That will be the time to re-consider.

Here's some shot from this lens..... was actually planning to sell it but decided to keep it instead :P

No post processing was done at all to the pics... just resize to a smaller size...

excellent portrait lens...

if budget allows... see it and grab it!

Nah... You know, I think it would be the other way round, we could start seeing AS in Sony video cams instead of steady shot... hahhahaha~
Then they'll have this: First CCD shift type image stabilising system for video cams in the world...

And how about Pro interchangable lens Hi-def Vidcams with AS on A-mount Carl Zeiss lens, like Canon's XL2 which can also accept their photographic lens... hahhaha that would be fun....

And hope that we can see Sony's longer lasting batteries, better sensors, software , big bucks and marketing goes into our belove minolta...
