absolutely gorgeous
the view and perspective is unique in the way there is old in the foreground and new building in the background with all the lights and blue sky... just beautiful and right moment captured Hosea
do post more of the Chinatown pics since I am not there to see how the strees are lighted

Wow!! I cannot find a better way of describing the first shot than the way ZeroDivine said it - Absolutely Gorgeous!!! Great angle of view, great composition, perfect time of day, PERFECT exposure!! Kudos!!

Err....I find the shadowed area in the top left of the 2nd pix very distracting. If you had cropped off the top 1/3, to around the bottom half of the top doors, it would have been stronger.

Thanks Heartshape for viewing and comments.
Great to hear your preference perspective for pix 2... I was trying
to covey lonely lanes again the busy front.
See pix 3 for something as what you mentioned.

The difference is one taken this yr, one taken last yr.
And guess what, there is a new high rise for this yr version.

The top part of pic 1 is rather soft, something we cannot ask for more in a wide angle.
Great timing and a fresh perspective of chinatown.

This pix was shot hand-helded...
Wish I could use a tripod to have it more perfect.
