toyota corolla, not bad, very responsive car. But i don't like the look, just preference.

Lancer, well you know it better.

    Honda, the new 1.8..salvating.

focus, all good rounder, one of the most expensive in the 1.6 range. thier car is the best, as quoted by thier sales guy..

subaru TS, forget it. imagine 1.6cc in a 2.0 shell..kills economy.

Nissan sunny: not my taste, cheap and good to get a round. the drivers think they are the only ones on the roads....

getz..not bad, econimical and not mush flair about it.

    matrix: petrol guzzler

that's aobout it for this range in my perspective.
Sjourn, you did not mention anything about HONDA City?

City is quite a good buy in my opinion. quite good looking, econimical and have a good storage spaces. It's a get around car with no frills.

Cos tat time buy the sales ppl promise tis promise that, even say the previous car trade in how much & how much, den during collection of the new car, they suddenly say must top up tis & that... den alot of things dun have...

den another incident, we wanna buy another lancer, confirm liao, den also sell car, confirm on price already, later slash price again... so my parents cancel the deal.

anyway, the mitsubishi is good raw power... but after a few years, the engine & other parts will breakdown, and get very noisy...

Dun think it's $23000 , I think they have a cap on the rebate of OPC, pending on the sale price of the car. U might wan to check it out 1st.
