No ideas from anyone? Actually I was thinking of something mechanical, since I have a spare cable release for an old manual camera. The only problem is mounting the thing on the shutter of the S602.

The other thing that can try is to use the mini USB cable connected to a PDA and write some programs to trigger off the camera, similar to what someone did for Nikon cameras. The problem is that we need the cable and someone who knows how to program the S602 for remote capture.

Maybe you can copy and paste the contents here for all to see??

Searched the DIY forum for the keyword "602" but no thread on cable release. Also, to read any of the thread requires registration.

just register as a member. I did that and there are quite alot of threads talking about how to make a cable release generally. read some of these and modify slightly to fit your needs.

It's not so much of the translation (I can read Chinese), but rather I don't really wish to register with YET another forum.
