thanks for those who care to contribute...

only been to 3 parts of aus: tasmania, melbourne and sydney (stayed there for 1/2 yr). Like tasmania the most, very rustic and laid back, getaway from the city. Lots of national parks there for trekking too. Very nice experience, especially when you get wallabies stealing your food in the middle of the night.

Don't have any album to share but I believe dragos has an online travelogue of his trip to melbourne.

not sure about that but didn't see any snow there when I went although it was winter. But then again I didn't go up Cradle Mountain, there may be some snowfall there.

I was in Sydney for 6 years after high school in KL... My fav place would be Mid-City shopping area and Darling habour. For the night we normally go to Pancake on the rocks for some late nite, after clubbing drink. Basically they are lots of places to drink and chill, esp those in Bondi beach.

Photos? I have a lot but its all in CDR

edit: now i remember.. i got some photos in http://viwen.hypermart.net/stuffz/ .. its in there somewhere, sorry for the mess greatoceanroad and harbourB2 is from Melb and Syd respectively.

Personally prefer winter weather but I have no doubt that it's nice all year round!
