Took this shot at the zoo... thought it looked cute the way the two turtles were looking up, and one was on top of each other.... and then when I got home, only did I notice a third smaller one.

How close were the turtles? With E-10's limited zoom, possible to get this shot?

ninelives: hehe thanks
tomshen: ![]() togu: this was shot weeks ago, when i still had big mama. now no more. maddog: my officemate said the same thing bean: thanks! falcon: they weren't close at all... i was using the "big mama" tele-combination. and i cropped part of the top off (the swamp greens). denizenx: it was the result! jon33: yup, definitely some undertones. hehe. i don't think they do "it" that way though... or do they? maybe he was just trying to get to the other side of the turtle or something. anyone know why they are all looking up tho? |

thanks sniperd and megaweb!
i think i was on autopilot when i was shooting at that time already. i was handholding the cam + mega-tele-combo the whole day and was fairly tired (serves me right for not bringing a bloody monopod!), and was just like, "oh nice! compose. owww. shoot. ooh pretty! shoot. oh cute! shoot. ow." twas a learning experience.falcon: i already own a tcon14b which i got for $200 sometime back. and then i rented a tcon-300 for a week. |

U rented it? How much did u pay for it? That seems to b a good idea to solve the problem limited optical zoom.
