I read that using extension tubes is another method of getting close up shots. Extension tubes extend your prime lens out right?
So I reckon that it cannot be used on the 602? |

Extension tubes are for SLRs with inter-changable lens. They go in between the lens and the body, extending the distance between the front element of the lens and the film plane.
For S602, you have to rely solely on close-up filters. |

Look at macro lens as an expensive close-up filter.
They are usually multi-element (as opposed to single element +1 to +4 close-up filters by Hoya, or the double element +10) to correct for distortion and CA. Of coz, you have to pay a lot more for that. |
