Will it actually look like this, or just another "artists impression" so many different designs out there already.

1. Third command dial for ISO, located between the other two and pointing vertically.
2. Move CF dial to side of grip like D200; rubber won't peel like D2s
3. Slightly larger screen (3")
4. Removal of protrusions like metering switch and diopter knob
5. Angled controls to match the arc of your fingers
6. The lowest two AF options - single point or dynamic single point - integrated to one position;
7. Recessed drive dial; knurled bit on the front to turn, push lock switch with thumb to release. Multiple exposure now on drive dial; M-UP integrated with timer (so you can also set the timer to 0s)
8. Vertical grip main command dial goes vertical to make room for AF-L and AF-ON buttons
9. Backlit buttons
10. A couple more focus points so subjects don't fall in the holes, and split prism/microprism screen as standard
11. It's 1cm lower so it should fit into bags better...and the vertical grip has a scooped out big for your fingers like the main one.
13. No more external WB eye. The D200 seems to do fine without one; certainly more accurate than my D2H.
14. WB eye replaced by IR trigger diodes for iTTL flash units.
15. One more FUNC button for use with the vertical grip.

Maybe not, but backlid buttons. Looks like artist's impression only.

The design remind me of Sony Cybershot F828 being replace by R1.

I worry more about the specs than how it looks.
