Default micro setup

Hope to hear from micro master to tell me is it possible to use 80-200mm f/2.8D lens for micro setup? How does it compare to reversed 50mm? I wish to know the use of 5T/6T too. Thanks

yeah use a 500D with it. However, I guess most will still ask you to get a dedicated macro lens.

Cheers~!

Test it for you some other day, I have got the exect setup and want to try it out as well although I have macro lens. Will also try extension tube with the 18-200.

Wow... cool.. thanks alot Dennis.. i will be waiting for your post. I cant wait to see how a 18-200 in macro action. If its good.. i think i will just go for this lens liao... 70-200vr or 28-70 will be out of my question.

I expect the result to be good, I posted some close up with the lens alone, can see it here.
But I suspect with attachement the distance is too close and may not be ideal.
Macro lens is still best.
