Default Contax G2

I have just acquired a Contax G2 with some lenses. Going to try it out this weekend.

Any comments and advise about the perculiarity of this camera?

Bring spare films. This camera is so smooth it burns through a roll before you know it.
Pay attention to the focus confirmation before tripping the shutter. Enjoy.

if its the first time you using rangefinder from SLR be careful of the lens cap. you can see thru viewfinder and shoot happily with lens cap still on!

for the same reason make sure your hands nopt in the way of the lens too

Which lenses you got? It is a fantastic camera system. I miss my G2...

21mm is the best. 90mm is fantastic for portraits.

Just be sure you focus carefully with the little box in the centre of the view finder. There is no confirmation for focusing. My first roll was filled with out of focus shots.
