AF-S VR 200-400mm f/4G IF-ED

Hi all,

Can anyone share with me how much this lens would cost locally? Has anyone had experience with it and is it real as good as what is written on it over the internet...

generally, very expensive lenses r very good. oso because its so exotic, few ppl hav any experience with it.

According to the site, it is SGD11800

But street price is prob about 10k or so.

Performance wise, fast AF, that is about all I can say as I only tried it, never used it.

hmm for that price, I rather get a 600mm/4. Doable, with enough change to take my GF out for dinner and movie twice too.

The 600/4 is more expensive (new price). The weight is another problem ....

Correction. For that price I can get a 600/4 and still bring my GF out for a good dinner and movie twice.

I am not one who can write reviews or anything near that. All I can say is that it is a great lens.

600 f/4 is ~S$14K 500 f/4 is the one that's near S$10K

Hi all,

Thanks for your inputs. Definitely interested in this lens but price in Singapore is so high. Equivalent in the States is about $8000. Is there anywhere around this region that we can get Nikon Lens cheaper, e.g. Malaysia?
