Some candid shots from recent trip to Taipei

Went to Taipei last month for a short trip. Really love the food over there Here are a couple street shots to share:

Enjoying the warm sunny day (shot on the Old Street at DanShui, Taipei) :

Little girl playing on the street (shot on the same street as above). I find this one kinda funny myself, food stalls in front of a small Temple, and it's like the little girl was watching both stalls .

Reading under street light after dark (this one was taken in a small narrow street somewhere near the city center)

As for #1 and #2 .. feels that the pictures have no particular focus that captures my attention immediately. Maybe by cropping out fringes, you might better acheive the 'story' you wanted to bring out.

#3 is good. IMHO a b/w exposure will add more depth.

#1, has few distractions as motorcycles are in the front of the aged men

Thanks for the comments. Will give B/W a try and see how it looks #1 was shot by a wide angle lens when I was walking on the street. Would've been better if I used a longer lens I guess.

#3 is good, #2 could use tighter cropping since there is the potential of using the little girl as the subject of the picture.

Thanks Hacker for the comments. Thought about the same for #2 but it's too much of cropping. Another reason to buy a high MP camera, or a super zoom lens for travel
