Back to the thread starter, it would be good to see a consumer tele at 70-300 with VR but nikon has already a 80-400 with VR.

As for a 105, I feel that VR is not really needed here as its still handholdable. In addition, as for me, I tend to use a tripod for macros generally.

80-400 is not AF-S leh... we need AF-S vr lens for 70-300 and 80-400
