i finance my photography via getting parents to buy loads and loads of 4d. easy as taht. no win no new camera. win big tmr u will see me with a canon 5dmk2 and all the L lenses. pray hard for em k? i dun mind toto win also.
First I sold blood to buy 350D.
Then I sold half of kidney for 5D.
After that I sold half of liver to upgrade to 1DS MKII.
I need some L lenses. But what's left to sell?

the BBB syndrome is very tempting! but when i sit back and think....i realise i dun NEED those lenses or a 7D. sighs. anyway not worth sacrificing other things for photography also. theres more to life than that.

Camera gear is not that expensive for someone my age, if I want to buy I just buy
I've probably only spent $4-5k in 1.5yrs, but I have colleagues who have spent over 50k and have 50 lens!

BUT now,the BBB virus has shrouded my mind lately. after the kit lens, i started to buy other lens with my salary. and i spent quite a lot for such 'small sized lens' compared to my other previous hobbies (superbike,mountainbike,car,computer)
she even joked,if the 28l dry cabinet is cramped with lenses, i can store the rest in her 22foot 2-tier 5-yr warranty KITCHEN cabinet
i sell high, buy low.
i low ball hapless sellers and high ball hapless buyers.
i am the terror of clubsnap b&s.
that is how i get my gear.
