Default D2X and DX lenses, compatible?

Hi,

This may sound silly but am curious. Since D2X is considered a 'full frame' camera (w'out being affected by the 1.5X factor) then does it mean that the DX lenses are incompatible to the D2X?

Curious...

I suggest you take a look at Nikon website, study the spec. of the D2X, check out the compatible lenses can be use on D2X.

The D2X is *NOT* "full frame". It is DX format (with a 1.5X "crop" compared to the 24x36 format), as are all other Nikon D cameras. DX lenses are compatible with *ALL* Nikon DSLR's.

And some people thought that why the name of the camera is D2X .

Next time if the D3X really come out, it will be 3x crop .

Arto.

Think you better read Nikon website again and maybe dpreview.com.

Cheers!

Thanks all. Will read the specs when I get around to it. Was actually asked by a friend and needed an answer fast.

Thanks again.

Cheers
