Default weather sealed lens?

Hi People,

since the D200 is weather sealed, which nikon lens are weather sealed?

I read that the 17-55DX is. Is there 18-200 VR weather sealed? It seems not many of the nikon lens are weather sealed. What is the point of weather sealing if your lens are not?

what kinda of shots are you looking to get in bad weather conditions? I have shot in snow and very light rain drizzle with no problems up till now and I am not using any lens that are weather sealed.
