Default What does he mean by "shoot a non-hazy picture"?

Last time saw a CSer use this phrase, what does the phrase mean?
I used to think when the subject is very close to the lens, then there is little haze.

I have no idea what he meant.

But in English, non-hazy should mean a picture without haze. It has little to do with sharpness or focus. A hazy image should mean only that - that there is "haze" over the image.
