Not pointing fingers at anyone here lar. It was just a kinda joke lar. So u mean considerate laddermen are those who sacrifice nearness to stage and sweet spot to those who erect "wall" in front of them? And as such miss out on their shots?

Yah. Erect "wall" also no use. The SHE fanclub will bring giant banners and posters anyways.

The only solution? Either join them...queue up overnite, buy their album, masquerade as SHE fans etc....den when before you reach the stage, pull out your DLSR and L lens and flash pack from your backpack and start machine gunning them.

    Default Madness

Someone could do a PhD. thesis on this phenomenon. Is this a new twist on 'free must get'?

Why are these events so jammed with photo-bengs? Dunno ! Very, very few are professional photographers or even freelance photogs. What happens to all photos? They get posted on CS until we are all bored out of our gourd.

If they ever do a revision of Extraordinary Popular Delusions and The Madness Of Crowds, a chapter could be devoted to shopping centre photo madness In Singapore!

One thing, not much interesting stuff to shoot in SG. Everyone takes the same subject over and over again. Anything new and uncommon would be flooded with people.

Raffles City has been one of the most photog friendly place so far. With such behaviour, I suppose the management there would be rethinking their policy.

The most extreme measure would be to ban shooting altogether and that would mean we will be giving RC a big miss.

One solution is to put chairs in front of the stage, like 150 seats or so. Photogs would have to be behind these seats. In that manner, everybody would have their fair share of the show.
I love big car, big house, big lenses, but small apertures.

    or this?

Did it for the fun of it. And for the irony, I am looking at buying a ladder myself also.

They should just tattoo a ladder on their arm, and a t-shirt with a ladder imprinted on it.
