Sleeping Beauty castle (a very small castle!)

Times Square (HK had the new year countdown outside this building)

Tsim Sha Tsui on New Year's night. It was jammed packed with people with extensive road closures.

for the peninsula hotel, you should have tried going more backwards until the space museum, then you can treat the museum (the semi circular one) to be a "planet" + the stars behind..would be a nice shot...hhehe.

IIRC, the space musuem is located opposite the hotel.
