i like the mood of the shot, and the minimalist feel. i think it would even be better if you went all the way with minimalism, isolated the main church steeple and cropped the rest away, in a vertical pano format to complement the vertical form of the steeple. it's as if the cross above the steeple is fending off the mass of evil black clouds that threaten to crush it from above.

can see that you are seeing very differently than when you first began.

I wanted to try that crop initially but that would be falling back to my old style besides, it's really about showing the scene than isolating the meaning (maybe too strong of a statement to be made) of the shot to the a/m crop but thanks for showing me a different angle to the scene!

ohh... well there's never a literal meaning in my pics so how to say it, guess it's just how I interpret the start of the year.. hahaha..

wow, there's indeed a smiley face in the cloud. Perhaps you can boost the contrast more to show it. anyway, i like it. indeed it is very your style.
