Hi
Prayer ![]() The daily prayers at dawn, noon, afternoon, sunset and nightfall together constitutes one of the 5 pillars of Islam upon which Muslims build their lives upon. Facing Mecca ![]() They will pray facing southeast, as this is the direction of the Kabah, a building used as the Islamic compass created by Allah rebuilt by Abraham, located in the city of Mecca on the Arabian peninsula. If during any part of a prayer, the worshipper’s chest turns to face any other direction, the prayer is cancelled and must be performed over again. Bismillah Arahmani Araheem....... This phrase translates to "Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds, the Merciful, the Most Merciful...." ![]() “Alhamdu lil lahi rabil alameen arahmani araheem maliki yaw mideen. Iyaka nabudu wa iyaka nestaeen. Ehdena aserata almostakeem. Seratal lathenna anamta alayhim ghayril magh dubi alayhim wa la dauleen (Ameen)” “Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds, the Merciful, the Most Merciful, Owner of the Day of Recompense. You (alone) we worship, and You (alone) we rely on for help. Guide us to the straight path, the path of those upon whom You have favored, not those upon whom is the anger, nor those who have gone astray.” ![]() |

I apologise once again for being blatant. After see one series, it felt as if I have seen everything. Your shots are purely repetition. Are you afraid to go nearer and closer to these people. I feel a distance aways from them. It's so cold and yet your topic is suppose to be warm and meaningful. From what I deduce after seeing all the picture you have taken, I felt as if the whole event was just a boring ritual. If I can't see feelings and how can I then feel anything from your pictures? If you are trying to tell me the whole thing is boring, then you have suceeded.
Photojournal though does not ask one to exagerate life but is to make people observe life. You should not exagerate nor simply shoot for the sake of shooting without observation. The crucial thing is you have to observe moments and people. I understand that there may be pressures around you when you shoot (people uncomfortable with your presence) but that does not mean I an an audience have to give discounted comments on your shots. Remember you can't always be around to explain for your images. can your image stand alone without words? |
