Good - but I would have opted for a longer exposure to make the water smoother.

Btw: Settings? And how did u get this so fast if you shot with Provia 400??

Default ...Que Lynn...you got it right...!!

    Hi There....

Yup..its me....still in a daze.....i juz got back from Johore at 2am in the morning and was thinking of calling off my planned merlion shoot....but after goin to bed for a couple of hours and after getting ready for fasting...can't sleep....so went on with plan in case there was anyone who replied to my post .....although i did not receive any SMS.....confirming any attendance.....

Was SHOCK to see so many photographers oredi there......
Anyway....its fun though seeing so many people trying to get to unique positions to grap a good photo.

anyway for all info...the settings were:
    program Mode - Tv 90
    Aperture Av: 9.5

Shot at 24mm (Minolta 24-85) - Without UV filter - based on personal experience - a filter in front for sunrise shots if filter is not multicoated....increase risk of ghosting of sun.....where you will see second sun on the sun shifted.

    Exp. Compensation : +1.0

AEL (locked) on Lion's Head - the lions tail area too dark.

    Hope this helps...

    Regards,
    me

Hmm, not sure if it was you, but was there at 6:30am as well. Did see a group of 3 ppl (2 guys 1 girl) taking photos, was wondering if u were one of them.

Saw someone using a camera that looked like my (minolta XG-1).
Must say, the sunrise was fantastic. Quite tempted to go again later this morning, but kind of shacked out liao.
