Hi,

I am a newbie to the forum. I suggest going to Raffles Marina to take photos of sunset.
The address is

Raffles Marina
10 Tuas West Drive
Singapore 638404

If you are driving, take AYE exit 26B and filter left to Tuas West Drive. You will see Raffles Marina on your right after you turn left.

I never really taken a real sunrise or sunset picture before. lol. Now I know where to visit, going to Shaw Tower carpark to take pictures. Sometimes those guards may tick you off, but well. Yeah, Changi Beach is a good place to take sunrise and sunset pics. For modern architecture, the Raffles Place area is a good area to take. Some places to take cityscapes are at Parliament House and at Esplanade Waterfront where you can get a good picture of Singapore's skyline. Is Matilda's house some very remote place? I need to go there with a friend, or else I will freak out. LOL. Can't wait for Singapore Flyer to open and it will be an excellent yet expensive place to snap pictures of cityscapes. Chinatown is a good place to take shophouses. Btw, I found a few dilapidated shophouses at Mohammed Sultan Road and Tong Watt Road. More or less abandoned, an okay place to take abandoned buildings.

You come out of Punggol MRT you will see it already.

If you still can't see it, print eikin's map in the Stickied Punggol thread in this very section, it's pretty good, bring it along.
